BERGAMO Città Alta

You will met by one of our friendly staff who will assist you with your luggage before transferring you to our wellness hotel just outside Bergamo. For those hiring bikes, we will be available to do a bike fit and make any adjustments needed. Fitting pedals, lights, saddles etc is our work and not yours! We will explore stunning UNESCO site Città Alta and show you some real hidden gems before we take you to dinner in our favourite local trattoria.
Hotel Piajo | NembroSAN PELLEGRINO tERME
39kM, 450m Elevation
Take in the wildly beautiful Brembana Valley, on two wheels. The cycle path was built on the disused railway track in 1906 that connected Bergamo to San Pellegrino. Experience riding through some old railway tunnels that add a special touch to this fabulous ride through nature and culture. In San Pellegrino you can enjoy a typical Italian aperitivo style lunch, followed by a visit to San Pellegrino Terme for a unique spa experience. As you enter San Pellegrino you will understand why this charming town was THE venue for the European aristocracy in the 19th century. Enjoy all this spa has to offer in both a fabulous Art Nouveau and modern setting. Dinner is in San Pellegrino before a transfer back to the hotel.
Hotel Piajo | NembrovAL Seriana cycle path

It’s time to say goodbye to hotel Piajo and head for our next destination: Hotel La Pieve in Pisogne, overlooking the stunning Lago d’Iseo. The lovely cycle path follows the river Serio north-bound to Clusone, which has some fascinating historical sites to discover. We complete today’s ride, now rolling towards Lovere, an enchanting medieval town on the lake shore, perfect for an ice cream stop. A short distance to our hotel, where you can enjoy the delights of the hotel pool. This evening we will transfer you to Boccadoro vineyard for a tour and tasting session as the sun falls over the stunning vistas. Tonight is your chance to choose your dinner destination. We will happily recommend some restaurants in walking distance from the hotel. After dinner you can enjoy a lakeside stroll with the best ice-cream in the world!
Hotel La Pieve | PisogneVal CAmonica cycle path
45km, 270m elevation
Today we ride north in the direction of Switzerland! The gentle and flat cycle path of Val Camonica is loved by guests who wish to pedal adjacent the River Oglio. On arrival at Boario Terme we will stop for coffee and a bite to eat in the shadows of the alps. In the late afternoon our yoga expert Harminder will welcome you for an extraordinary yoga session in a splendid garden on the mountain. This evening we will enjoy a magnificent dinner after taking a boat trip to MonteIsola - Island in the centre of Lake Iseo.
Hotel La Pieve | PisogneGIRO Lago ISEO LOOP
62 km, 540m mostly flat
This is one of our favourites, you will love the amazing and easy ride around Lago d’Iseo, a mix of great views, enchanting villages, and more! You will soon understand why Lake Iseo is the best-kept secret in Northern Italy. The lively town square of Iseo, Sarnico with its splendid Art Déco villas to the prettiest village of Riva di Solto, show us what different scenery the lake has to offer. No lack of great places to take pictures- what amazing views! Visit the amazing bay of Bogn di Zorzino before heading to paddleboarding. The last 15km back to the hotel is on the beautiful lakeside road with overhanging cliffs. Tonight we will enjoy a sumptuous dinner among friends to say goodbye and reminisce over our wonderful holiday together.

| Where to meet |
Please arrange to meet us at Bergamo train station at 14:00 - Day 1. The Tour Manager will contact you via WhatsApp in the days leading up to the start of your tour to confirm your transfer and the name of the staff member collecting you. Alternative transfers can be arranged but may incur an additonal cost. |

Following the conclusion of the tour we will assist you with planning and booking of onward travel. We will run one transfer to Milan airports leaving in the late morning. |
| Transfer time |
Please consider eating lunch before we collect you from Bergamo train station. The transfer time from Bergamo Station to the Hotel Piajo is 25mins. Transfer time from Lake Iseo to Milan is 90 minutes. |
| Riding in Lombardia |
The general road conditions in Lombardia are good. During rides we may go through tunnels, they are well lit but for safety we will provide you with lights. Much of the riding will be enjoyed on cycle paths. |
| Cuisine |
The food is excellent in Lombardia. Restaurants now cater for both vegan and vegetarians. Homemade local wines and beer a must to try. Lake Iseo is rightly fammous for its lake fish (in particular sardines) and Bergamo for polenta and casoncelli pasta. |
| Hotel facilities |
The hotels on this tour have spas and we recommend bringing swimming costumes. The hotels also have laundry service, good wifi and bar service. Hotels may charge extra for the use of these facilties. |
